ESL Lights Up the Diwali Spirits

 

Bokaro :- |26th October 2022 - Diwali festivities at ESL Steel Limited lit up the lives of the employees and beneficiaries of the company. The HR team of ESL organised a Rangoli making competition on the theme of ESG amongst different units of the plant. The event enabled the participants to express the creative side of their minds. These exhibits at different locations attracted appreciation from all the members of the ESL family, uplifting the festive mood.The festive spirit got further boosted with the Blast Furnace producing highest ever daily Hot Metal production of 5015 MT on the 21st of October. The executive members of the company celebrated the achievement with the shop floor workers and appreciated them for their impeccable efforts. This was also seen as a source of motivation for the workers of all the other units.

The students of Vedanta Skill School also light up diyas and made rangolis in the premises of their schools to mark the arrival of the festival of lights. It also acted as a symbol for how the steps taken by ESL CSR in collaboration with SEEDS impact is becoming a guiding light to the students’ future. All the ESL employees, stakeholders, and beneficiaries were distributed sweets as a celebrating the work that they do for the company and its real life impact in the world. ESL remains at the forefront of bringing people together, be it celebrating any festival or any significant achievement. The efforts of the company to create value of its stakeholders help it to be a frontrunner of the industry.
