Former Jharkhand minister Umakant Rajak and his colleagues celebrated Siddho-Kanhu Jayanti at the AJSU party office in Chandankiyari block of Bokaro district.  Former minister of Jharkhand garlanded the picture of Sidho-Kanhu and paid tribute to them. Father of Santhal rebellion.  At the same time, Umakant Rajak while giving information to the people said that he had raised his voice against Mahajani system and the British rule in Santhal.  In this campaign, he also got the support of his two brothers Chand and Bhairav ​​and two sisters Phulo and Jhano.  Former minister Umakant Rajak said these things on the occasion of Siddho-Kanhu Jayanti at AJSU party's head office, Chandankiyari. This program was presided over by Block President Mithilesh Mahato and conducted by Tapan Rajwar.  He said that he had organized the Sidho-Kanhu people against the exploitation and oppression of the British and moneylenders and in 1855 agitated against the British rule for the independence of the country.  Siddho-Kanhu was elected as the commander-in-chief in the Santhal rebellion that started in Bhognadih and started the movement with the help of ten thousand Santhals.  The Santhals were defeated in the encounter and both the brothers were hanged.  Despite this, the memory of both the brothers is not only in Santhal but in the entire state.  On the occasion, Rajak has appealed to all the workers of the party that a large number of workers from all the blocks and city units should participate in the justice march on April 13, 2023.  The justice march will go to the district headquarters after garlanding the statue of Binod Babu at Bokaro airport.
 District Chief Secretary Tapan Singh Chaudhary, Central Secretary Subhash Shekhar, Rajesh Bhagat, Kartik Gorai, Mathur Gop, Shiv Prasad Mahato, Hanif Ansari, Manoj Mahtha, Devendra Mahato, Vikas Singh, Rajiv Ranjan Jha, Kuldeep Thakur, Sudama Singh, Akhan on the occasion  Mahto, Bhim Rajak, Jadu Ravani, Sanjit Kumbhkar, Rocky Shekhar, Ranjit Mahto, Akash Bauri, Karan Dutta, Allumuddin Ansari, Suresh Mahto etc were present.
